Welcome to my website. I’m a photographer living and working in East London, where I have lived for the last 16 years and visited regularly for many years before that.
Originally a social worker by training, I have spent the last 38 years working in health and social care with children, families and adults in London and surrounding areas.
My interest in photography began at a very young age, when I was given an old family camera in the 1970’s and started taking photos of days out, holidays, family events etc. Basically that is what I continued to do over the years since then, moving from film to digital.
I am now combining my interests in people and their environment through photography - with portraits of people and of places in the local area in which I live. I am particularly interested in the vibrancy and extremes of life East London offers and aim to capture some of this through my photography.
